In leisure terms, The Sloane Club is everybody's answer to everything. Martin Baines, our concierge, is here to arrange anything that members might need.

We are perfectly placed for shopping, sightseeing, or strolling, a favourite occupation of Londoners. We are within easy reach of Chelsea, Mayfair and Knightsbridge and a short walk from the river, with its new pedestrian bridges and the popular London Eye (universally known as 'The Wheel').

Shoppers can choose from two nearby retail legends (Peter Jones and Harvey Nichols), flagship designer stores further up Sloane Street, or the myriad of boutiques and gift shops on the ancient thoroughfare of the Kings Road or in the new Duke of York Square shopping and restaurants complex.

Garden lovers will be delighted to find one of the oldest in the world, the Chelsea Physic Garden, within easy walking distance and many lovely green spaces nearby, including the famous Royal Hospital.

Many members use the Club as a base for the season: staying the night before and after social events such as The Lawn Tennis Championships at Wimbledon, The Henley Regatta, Royal Ascot, the cricket at Lord's and, of course, our nearby neighbour, The Chelsea Flower Show.

This allows them to change at leisure, arrange transport and relax afterwards, and we are more than happy to help with any arrangements.

Tony's clients have followed him around since the early sixties when he first opened in The Carlton Towers. As one of the country's leading Pigeon Fanciers, further news of a returning bird plays an essential part in the pleasures of a gent's hair cut.
